Today, we will be covering another “What Else” topic for Bukit Batok and before we begin, we would like to dedicate this page to some of our followers when you’re still undecided over The Clement Canopy when we last met at the showflat : )
So what is happening in Bukit Batok? Well, first and foremost, we would like to clarify on the decision of writing this article as it is not part of Jurong but we felt an immediate needs to address many of your concerns as some of you are eagerly looking to relocate as soon as possible when the opportunity arise. Hence, we thought it might be beneficial for some of you when supplies in Jurong are dwindling day by day before the next one comes.
Bukit Batok on the other hand, is an immediate neighbour just like Clementi for some of you who may not be aware and particularly for this new project, it is actually even nearer to our second central business district by a couple of minutes in driving due to the geographical location it is situated as compared to The Clement Canopy. This plot of land were purchased by Qingjian Realty in 2016, part of Qingian Group Co,. Ltd. A conglomerate with a diverse range of businesses including project construction expertise.
Le Quest will be their latest project in the making and it isn’t just an ordinary condo. This is a mixed-used development comprising both residential and commercial component. There will be 516 dwelling units and over 6,000sqm of commercial space for residents. Unit mix ranging from a studio apartment to a 4-bedroom deluxe unit catering to both yuppies and those looking to start a small family profile. Within the commercial component, developer will be constructing a 4-storey retail podium with retail shops, restaurants, 1 supermarket and 1 food court! We are definitely deeming this as rare in our western region based on recorded data.
Although the commercial aspect in Le Quest condo is not on par with other huge scale ones in Jurong East/West but it will be a force to be reckon with in their own boundary. The total commercial space in this development is equivalent to more than a football field’s size and it will be more than sufficient in serving the immediate needs of Le Quest residents right above the retail podium. Did we mention there will be a childcare centre? Yes, there will be 1 CCC taking in infants as well and young working families with that supposedly important arrangement will surely jump with joy as they won’t have to travel just to fetch their cute little ones back home from other places.
